3. Direction for use of Hear Hugger
1. Remove the shoulder strap from the handle on one side and slide the handle under the patient's arm. Place the shoulder strap over the shoulder and re-secure. Repeat the process on the other arm.
2. Adjust the chest straps as needed so that the distance between the handles is the same width as the patient's palm so they can easily hold the handles with one hand.
3. Adjust the shoulder straps so that they are comfortable to wear and the handle rests against the patient's mid-chest.
4. Tighten the Velcro retention strap to keep the handle in place.
