3. Feature of Skin Marker
1. The ink has been tasted by a CE certified laboratory and is non-toxic, non-allergenic and non-irritating.
2. Resistant to scrubbing: After sterilization, the scribing marks are clearly visible.
3. Individually sterilized packaging.
4. Available in optional soft rulers to meet clinical needs.
4. Direction for use of Skin Marker
1. Remove oil from the patient’s skin with alcohol or soap and water. Allow area to dry thoroughly.
2. Mark incision locations as necessary. Allow ink to dry thoroughly before prepping.
3. Prepare skin with Povidine-iodine (Betadine) solution to disinfect. Ink markings may fade slightly but remain legible.
4. Locate incision directly next to the marked line.
5. Remove markings with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol if desired. Markings will disappear naturally with bathing in a few days.
